The Voicemail

Stefan gets a Windows Phone to play with for two weeks and spends way too much time talking about it, HTC runs into some issues with Nokia over super secret advanced French microphone technology, and Apple announces that they've shipped over 10 million smartphones a month (on average) during the first three months of 2013. All that and much more on this week's episode!

Did you know that WhatsApp is bigger than Twitter in terms of users and it processes more messages than Facebook? That's just one of the many news items James and Stefan discuss this week. They also talk about Android's latest activation numbers, the UK Galaxy S4 launch, Chat Heads coming to iOS, and the "not black enough" Sony Xperia Z.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 8.0 this week in both the UK and the US, and Stefan thinks you're an idiot if you buy one. Samsung also announced two new phones, the Mega 5.8 and Mega 6.3, and James thinks they're the most ridiculous things to ever come off an assembly line. The two also talk about wearable computing, the useless pile of code that's called Google+, and China.

Minutes after Facebook announced "Home" and HTC announced the "First", James and Stefan recorded episode 42 of The Voicemail. They also talked about Samsung's partnership with Mozilla and Google's decision to fork WebKit. The best of this show however is the bit where James reviews his week old HTC One. He didn't get a review unit mind you, he bought the thing with his own money!
